Secondary Admissions 2025

Verulam School is a high-achieving, 11-18 all boys’ school, that operates a mixed Sixth Form. We are our own admitting authority but Hertfordshire LA manages the transfer and entry to Verulam School on our behalf.

This part of our website deals with how you can apply to join Year 7 Verulam School in September 2025. Applications for Year 7 secondary school places to start in September 2025 are now live via Hertfordshire County Council here.

Key dates for admission to Year 7 in September 2025

2nd September 2024 – Online application system opens

1st October 2024 – Verulam School Open Evening

3rd, 4th, 7th & 8th October 2024 – Open Morning Tours

31st October 2024 – Deadline to apply for a school place

3rd March 2025 – National Allocation Day

17th March 2025 – Deadline for accepting secondary school place offered
